PAYMENT POLICY

Cash, credit, personal check, cashiers check, or USPS money order are all acceptable forms of payment.

If Hoops Elite Academy has not reached full capacity, registration forms will be accepted until the first day of camp, on a fist come first serve basis.  Only cash, cashiers check, or USPS money order will be accepted at this point.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

All deposits are non-refundable.  Cancellations made 30 days prior to the start date of camp will be fully refundable for those who are paid in full.  Cancellations made after 30 days prior to the start date of camp will receive full credit to attend a future camp session.  All credit expires one calendar year from the date issued.  Cancellations must be made in writing via email, fax, or mail.  No refunds or credit for cancellations made less then 48 hours prior to camp, without a third party doctors note.  All cancellations are subject to a $50 administrative fee.

REGISTRATION PROCESS

In order to complete the registration process, applicants must submit the following:

  • HEA Registration Form and Bully/Hazing Prevention and Intervention Plan
  • Physical and immunization record (conducted during the preceding 24 months)
  • Tuition

BULLYING AND HAZING PREVENTION AND INTERVENTION PLAN

LOST, DAMAGED, OR STOLEN ITEMS

Hoops Elite Academy is not responsible for any lost, damaged, or stolen items.

LOST KEYS

There are camp sessions that include campers being responsible for their own room key.  Lost room keys may result in the family being charged for the total amount it cost to replace the room key.

ROOMMATE REQUEST

Hoops Elite Academy attempts to fulfill all roommate requests, as space is available.  However, roommate requests cannot be guaranteed.

AGE LIMIT

In order to attend Hoops Elite Academy, all participants must be a rising 6th-9th grader.

ACADEMY HOURS OF OPERATION

Hoops Elite Academy’s check-in starts at 2:00PM on the first day of each camp session.  Check-out is at 12:00PM on the last day of each camp session.

DISCOUNTS

Hoops Elite Academy offers a number of financial aid options including need based, team, sibling, and early enrollment discounts.  Please email for details.

AAU POLICY

Hoops Elite Academy runs AAU neutral events, and is not affiliated with any AAU program.  Although HEA is very appreciative for the support it receives from the many AAU programs that send players to our events, in order to remain neutral, we do not employ AAU coaches, administrators or individuals officially or unofficially associated with AAU programs on our staff.  AAU coaches and administrators are invited to visit our events, however, are prohibited from directly or indirectly recruiting, speaking to, making contact with, or exchanging contact information with student-athletes currently playing for AAU programs at our events.

INDEPENDENT SCHOOL POLICY

We welcome all independent school coaches to visit our camps and speak to the student-athletes.  We ask that independent school coaches talk only about their respective school and basketball program.  Independent school coaches are encouraged to recruit student-athletes who are not already attending an independent school while at Hoops Elite Academy events.  Directly or indirectly recruiting student-athletes already attending an independent school is prohibited.
