Derek Malloy, founder of 2eZ Mixtapes, hosted the 1st annual 2eZ Charity All-Star game on March 15, 2014, at East Greenwich High School, in East Greenwich, RI. The event was a huge success, attracting some of the nations top players, many of whom compete in the NEPSAC. Proceeds of the event were donated to the family of Jake Downey, an 11 year old boy who was born with congenital hydrocephalus. The game was played with a “Space Jams” theme, and included a 2eZ Squad and Monstars Squad. HEA alumni were represented on both squads including, Bruce Brown, Terance Mann, Unique McLean, Tomas Murphy, and Tyree Weston.
