HEA hosted an unprecedented amount of talent in its inaugural summer in 2011, headlined by its class of 2015 participants.  Although just sophomores, this group has made waves around the New England basketball scene.  Look for many in this group to become collegiate student-athletes in the near future.

Coach Tom Tarpey

What position(s) will you play this year?

I will be playing Point Guard and Shooting Guard

Describe what you did to prepare for the upcoming season?

During the summer I was working out two to three times a day, eating right, and trying to do what others don’t want to do.  When fall came, I played with the New England Playaz, because I knew it was a higher level program to help me get to the next level.

How do you envision yourself contributing to your team on and off the court?

I think I am a good all around player, who can create for others, score, make free throws, and rebound.  Off the court I am a good student who works hard, and stay out of trouble.

What are your team goals for the season?

My team goals are to play hard every practice and game, and get a state championship.

What are your personal goals for the season?

I personally want to break the scoring record for a single season, and get myself a few mixtapes to help me get noticed nationally.  I want to get a few offers also.
