This past weekend, Elite Week alumni Jarris Ashley (St. Andrew’s School), Eric D’Aguanno (Marianpolis Prep), and Terance Mann (Tilton School), took part in the annual Hoop Mountain Prep Classic at St. Andrew’s School in Barrington, Rhode Island. With a collection of some of the top prep school programs in attendance, the #HEAfam represented throughout the weekend.
Lets take a look how our alumni played over the weekend.
Friday Recap – D’Aguanno kicked off the event Friday night as his Marianapolis Prep squad fell to an extremely talented Cushing Academy squad 63-50. Cushing is considered one of the early favorites to contend for a NEPSAC Class AA Title. D’Aguanno had a strong showing, finishing in double figures with 11 points. Saturday Recap – Jarris Ashley’s host squad St. Andrew’s School earned a convincing victory over Regional Elite Development Academy (Canada) 88-61. D’Aguanno and Marianapolis Prep were back in action on Saturday, as they earned a victory over Monte Clare Academy (Phoenixville, PA) 77-50. D’Aguanno had another impressive performance, knocking down three three-pointers on his way to scoring 11 points. Sunday Recap – Terance Mann and his Tilton School squad beat Bridgton Academy 89-74. Mann displayed a high basketball IQ, knocked down open jumpers, and showed his willingness to crash the boards. To cap off an exciting weekend of action, Jarris Ashley and St. Andrew’s School earned a hard fought victory over Salisbury School 77-73.
