This past weekend, many of our Elite Week alumni attended the Blue Chip Classic presented by HoopRootz. Playing for the Mass Rivals freshmen squad, Chandler Jones was one of a number of #HEAFam that stood out at the event held at The Fessenden School, and was a key contributor in his squad winning the championship.
Chandler Jones – 6’2″, G, 2016 – Springfield, MA – Is a do it all wing player who uses his length and versatile offensive skill set to fill up the stat sheet. Jones is a two year alumnus of our Elite Week program, and is just scratching the surface of his overall potential. Jones will team up with fellow Elite Week alumnus Chris Baldwin at Springfield Central High School.
Lets see what HoopRootz had to say about Chandler Jones, and his breakout performance at the event:
“Chandler Jones drew a lot of “who’s that(s)” on Saturday as he showcased a versatile combination of length, skill, athleticism, and IQ. Makes plays in transition and has a nice all-around game on the offensive end. Jones has the physical tools and mindset which give him the potential to be a guy who can guard multiple positions.”
Other #HEAFam standouts include Tyonne Malone, Jake Midura, and Kendall Baldwin.
